   The abstract title should be less than 25 words
   Capitalize the first letter of the title only (do not use all caps). *exception: unique words

   Abstracts that do not comply with the size requirement and structure may be rejected without prior notice.

   References are discouraged and should be limited to THREE.
   References should be cited using superscript Arabic numerals in the order in which they first appear in the text and should follow the reference style of Respirology (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/page/journal/14401843/homepage/ForAuthors.html#Preparation).
   Any references included in a reference list must be cited within the abstract.

7. 7)7)Acknowledgements/Disclosure statement:

   Any Acknowledgements or Disclosure Statements can be listed briefly at the end of the abstract.

8. 8)8)Case report:

   A case report should describe only a single case and contain a description of the actual case, and a discussion of the novelty and importance of the specific case.

9. 9)9)Systematic Review and meta-analysis:

   Systematic reviews that include clear questions and scientific analysis such as meta-analysis CAN be submitted.

10. 10)10)A literature review abstract can NOT be submitted.

Figures and tables that do not comply with the requirement and are considered inappropriate may be removed without prior notice.

2. 2)2)The figures should be limited to a single graph or image-figures containing multiple graphs or images will not be published with the abstract. Author headshots are not appropriate figures and will not be published.

The presenting author is responsible for informing all co-authors about the status of their submitted abstract.

2. 2)2)The following may result in losing eligibility for presenting at the Congress.

   No reply to the acceptance letter
   No registration of a presenting author for the Congress before their “cutoff” date (The cutoff date will be informed in the acceptance letter)

1. 1)1)Only abstracts presented during the Congress will be published in a supplement of Respirology, known as the Abstract Supplement.

2. 2)2)For abstracts that are accepted for presentation, the contents including names of authors, will be published as they appear in the submitted abstract, in the Abstract Supplement.

3. 3)3)The copyright of individual abstracts in the Abstract Supplement remains with the author.

4. 4)4)Authors of accepted abstracts are expected to comply with the Ethical Considerations outlined in Respirology’s Author Guidelines
   (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/page/journal/14401843/homepage/ForAuthors.html#Policy).

5. 5)5)Authors must agree that their abstracts may be published on the Congress website or elsewhere, either prior to or during the Congress, as well as in a supplement of Respirology that may be distributed in print and electronically.

6. 6)6)The APSR reserves the right to remove from any publication any abstract that does not comply with the hereinabove.

Presenting authors are required to include/decorate the APSR Disclosure Slide when presenting the abstract. The Disclosure Slide will be provided to presenting authors of accepted abstracts after result notification.

In response to the current travel restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the abstract presentation (oral/poster) session of APSR 2022 might be conducted not only on site but also online. Further information on how to present the abstract will be provided directly to the presenting author and will also be posted on this website accordingly.
