On behalf of the KDDW organizing committee, we are pleased to announce that the 6th Korea Digestive Disease Week (KDDW 2022) will be held from December 1 to 3, 2022 at the Grand Hyatt Incheon in Korea.

Over the past two years, we have been unable to meet face-to-face due to the unprecedented outbreak of COVID-19 around the world, but we have nonetheless continued to gather in virtual spaces to exchange our research results and opinions.

As of 2022, the global situation is getting better and travel conditions are expected to gradually improve, but the future situation cannot yet be guaranteed. As such, the KDDW 2022 organizing committee is preparing an exciting hybrid conference which will allow for both the physical and online participation of attendees.

Current gastroenterology is rapidly progressing based on the evolution of personalized precision medicine, the influence of various innovative trials, and the cooperation between gastroenterologists and scientists in other fields. Accordingly, under the theme of “Precision, Innovation & Convergence in Gastroenterology and Hepatology,” this conference will feature outstanding scientific content on topics such as molecular diagnosis/treatment, big data application, the microbiome, artificial intelligence, and digital healthcare/therapeutics. The KDDW 2022 program will encompass not only up-to-date professional sessions but also important educational content, all while maintaining an engaging, real-time connection with the global conference audience. Interesting symposiums, combined sessions, PG courses and other various programs are currently being prepared.

In addition, we will provide opportunities to present as many abstracts as possible and give out a variety of awards and grant programs for all participants. Please mark your calendars now and save the dates to join us.
